Lubbock Electric Co. has been designing hydraulic pump units for the cotton ginning industry since the 1960's. As with the other products we build, our trademark is simplicity and rugged construction. All models incorporate double filtering and low oil level switches for long life; while relief valves and check valves provide for human safety. LECO can rebuild and perform full pressure testing on all brands of individual pumps.
Lubbock Electric Co. applies the same professional standards in repairing air compressors (both reciprocal and rotary screw machines), and rebuilding rotary blowers. LECO stocks a large number of basic units and components to facilitate quick assembly of customer 'specials'. A complete compressed air system includes refrigerated dryers, filters, valves, etc., and our staff can engineer and furnish all components.
The widespread use of the personal computer and the proliferation of programmable controls has greatly affected the world of motors and controls. Lubbock Electric Co. has responded by devoting major time and energy to stay abreast of rapidly changing technologies in industrial control systems. The degree of control that is demanded in today's world was not even possible a short time ago. Whether in the field of process control, automation, or data acquisition, LECO can provide you with a timely, cost-effective solution to your problems.
Lubbock Electric Co. was founded in 1944 by Paul V. Bush in a rented downtown building. The company consisted of one service truck and five employees, offering electric motor repair and field trouble-shooting of industrial motor and control systems.
Being a service oriented company and responding to the needs of a growing customer base, LECO soon added product lines as well as additional services. By the early 1980's LECO had accumulated over 50 distributorships and had evolved into six distinct service departments.
Today, Lubbock Electric Co. occupies over 100,000 square feet of office, warehouse, and shop space. Eighty-five diversely talented employees operating over 50 service vehicles work round-the-clock during the busy season, servicing our industrial clientele with the highest quality products from the industrial sector's finest manufacturers.
Through all the years, customer demographics have changed drastically, industrial control systems have improved dramatically, but our philosophy has remained the same: Lubbock Electric Company's main business is providing solutions for our customer's problems.
